Heart pattern

The simplest design that you can make is a puree heart.

What you need:

  • Squeeze bottle/ pastry bag filled with Andros’ purees
  • Plate (and food to put on top afterwards)
  • Toothpick

How to do:

  1. Take your squeeze bottle and point it downwards toward the center of the plate
  2. Squeeze small puree dots (same size or different sizes) on top
  3. Using a toothpick draw the line through your dots, creating the shape of connected small hearts as picture shows
  4. Try it with multiple colored sauces for even more flair.

Note: You can use a spoon to drizzle purees onto your plate, though Andros recommends using a pastry bag/squeeze bottle because it will give you more control over your designs.

  • A serving plate (and food to put on top afterwards)
  • Medium size glass bowl

How to do:

  1. Dip the glass bowl into purees
  2. Place the bowl down on the plate and sprinkle with powdered spice to create a stencil
  3. Remove the glass bowl, and voila!

Note: You could also do this with a fork and knife. It’s all about playing with negative and positive space.
