Chunky Yogurt Popsicles
Sweet and sour yogurt popsicles, the low energy and nutritious snack made from Chunky and yogurt, could help to cool off after stressful working hours. With only 3 completely natural ingredients, this irresistible summer treat is also easy to make. Try out this easy, healthy Chunky yogurt popsicle recipe.
Ingredients
- 200g plain yogurt
- 150g Andros’ Chunky of your choice
- 2 tbsp honey
- Popsicle mold
- Popsicle sticks
Instructions
- Blend 100g Chunky on high speed until reaching a creamy like consistency (add water if needed)
- Add yogurt and honey, and continue to blend until incorporated. Taste it. If you want it sweeter, you can add a little more honey.
- Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, add Chunky pieces
- Cover the mold and insert the sticks, freeze until completely solid and set (~5 hours or overnight)
- TIP: To easily unmold the popsicles, dip the bottom of the popsicle mold into hot water for a few minutes.
Fruit smoothies with frozen fruit
Frozen fruit is made for smoothies: it’s picked at peak flavor, and, well, it’s frozen so your smoothie doesn’t even need too much ice. It also makes a nice, concentrated smoothies that are way more flavorful than using fresh fruits. Here’s the summertime sipping recipe from Andros, you can adapt this recipe with your favorite fruit.
Ingredients
- 150g Andros’ frozen fruit . Depending on your favorite taste, you can combine different types of frozen fruit.
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Sliced fresh fruit + mint sprigs for optional garnish
Instructions
- Gather the ingredients. Put the water, frozen fruit, lemon juice, and honey in a blender. Blend the mixture until smooth.
- Pour into a tall glass, garnished with fruit slices and mint sprigs if desired.
- Enjoy!
Fruit salad
A healthy fruit salad bowl is all you need for a hot summer day. Frozen fruits are already chilly, so your salad bowl will now bring double the fun!
Ingredients
- 300g Andros’ frozen fruit of your choice ( Apricot Halves and Assorted Berries, Pineapple Dices and Morello Cherry)
- 1 tbsp frozen lime puree
- 3 tbsp frozen calamansi or passion fruit puree
- 100ml whipping cream
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp toasted almond slices
Instructions
- Salad sauce: in a bowl, combine freshly squeezed lemon juice, calamansi puree, honey and whipping cream, mix everything gently.
- Chop frozen fruits into small pieces if needed, mix well, transfer to a medium bowl or plate
- When ready to enjoy, top with sauce and roasted almond. Bon appétit!
